Is it possible for Link Systems to be set up in remote areas?
Link System provides multi-branch capabilities and may be configured in a number of different ways. Link System can be installed centrally and accessed from any number of remote locations using thin client technology.
The system may be installed in each branch and the central data based updated periodically by replication, or each branch may copy common files for accounting, reporting, tracking and tracing, etc., from each branch to the head office system.
What are the printing capabilities of Link System?
The print preview option allows all documents and reports to be viewed directly on the screen. This allows verification of report details in a fraction of a second. Reports may also be printed directly from the print preview. Security provisions allow users to only see their own branches transactions or alternately, authorized head office personnel such as accounting, may see transactions for all branches.
How do I track the cargo status?
Tracing or locating information for all master files, quotations, shipments, etc., is instantaneous and a standard feature of the system. i.e. Shipments may be located by shipment or reference number, File No etc. With the tracking feature you can query the status of a shipment, review the shipment details, produce a report of selected shipments, download the data for future use and even view images of documents attached by File Number, House Number or Master Number.
